# Memberships

Longmont Public Media (LPM) is a member-supported makerspace. To maintain our equipment and provide a high-quality creative environment, use of our studios and production spaces is reserved for our paying members.

By becoming a member, you aren't just getting access to the studios—you're supporting local media and gaining professional-grade tools to bring your projects to life.

**Managing Your Membership**

LPM uses the Proximity platform to manage recurring memberships and studio reservations. When you join or need to log in, you'll be directed to our member portal at members.longmontpublicmedia.org.

**Adding people to your membership**: Any membership tier can add additional people through the **Additional Member add-on** ($30/mo per person — see the [membership page](https://longmontpublicmedia.org/support/membership/) for current pricing). Anyone added this way **must** sign up for a membership and complete any necessary orientations before their access begins. Once they've signed up, **LPM will link** them to your account.
